Safety

The family is undoubtedly the safest place to be, or is it?
Within the culture of scripture lie many fascinating revelations hidden for the believer to explore for growth and maturity and yet people persist to ignore the value of being spiritual.
The safety of the family is dependent upon the father. Having said this there is probably nothing on earth more committed to her offspring than a mother. This may, by way of simple example, best be seen in the animal kingdom.
When a father built a home he would take his newfound bride to this home as a safe place. Should it, as was the custom to build, have an upper level [deck] designed with a flat roof then he was to ensure it was protected by a balustrade [handrail] to prevent anyone falling to the ground below. The law was that should anyone fall from the roof and die, because of a lack of compliance, then the blood of that person would be on his hands.
Support.
Support is something vital to all with the understanding that I, the individual, have worth and value within my unit, be it the home, the work place or the community.
Support may best be defined by the word of God found throughout the scriptures.
Galatians 6:1-5
Brethren, if anyone is overtaken by a fault, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and fulfil the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load.
