Mark 11:23 [NKJV]
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea, ’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Palms 23:1-6 [NKJV]
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
In this article, I want to encourage us all to let our businesses be a reflection of the ways of God!
By this I mean that it is important that believers and non-believers alike must see that we, the believers, are bringing some consistency into our lives by doing the same things in every area of our lives, whether it be church-life, home-life or work-life. It is much easier to apply this way of living than it is to try to be different across our life’s functions. The reason I can say this is that the Bible, which is the Word of God to us, His children, and the only truth, despite all circumstance, tells us that, when we become believers, it is no longer we that live, but Christ Who lives in us (Galatians 2:20). We take on Christ-likeness and His ways become our ways. The more we yield to His authority in our lives, the more like Him we become and the more we act like Him!
